Natural Gas – franchise agreement with Direct Energy (formerly ATCO GAS)

Sewer, Water and Garbage – services provided by the Village
Current standard residential rate is $147.00 per two months for water, sewer and garbage. Water is metered in this community. Utility billing occurs every two months and the bill you receive is for services already used. During the winter season (November to April) the flat rate is set at 36.36 cubic meters and in the summer season the amount is 113.66 cubic meters.
For every five cubic meters used above the set flat rate, there is a cost of $5.00.
Payment is due 30 days from invoice date and may be paid at the Village Office, through internet banking if you are a ATB customer, mail or at the local ATB Financial Agency only.
***Effective January 1st, 2017 Residential customers will see a $3.00 increase to their utility bill, from $147.00 to $150.00 per two months; commercial/industrial customers will see a $3.96 increase to their utility bill, from $172.04 to $176.00 per two months; and farm customers will see an increase of $4.00 to their billing, from $88.00 to $92.00. These prices are reflective of the base rate and the rate for overage remains the same at $5.00 for each 4.55 cubic meters over the base rate.
