The Village of Barons has announced a public auction for the sale of two tax recovery properties in accordance with the Municipal Government Act. The auction will take place on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Village Office, 210 Main Street, Barons, Alberta.
The properties being offered include:
- Lot 18, 19, P20, Block 1, Plan 2605X
- Lot A, Block 20, Plan 5929HQ

All parcels will be sold on an “as is, where is” basis and are subject to reserve bids, existing title conditions, and any applicable reservations. The Village makes no warranties regarding the condition, use, development potential, environmental status, or availability of services for the properties.
Interested bidders should be prepared to pay by cash or certified cheque. Property owners retain the right to redeem their property by paying all outstanding taxes and costs at any time prior to the sale.
For additional information regarding tax recovery property sales, please contact the Village Office. As noted in the auction notice, no further information regarding the lands will be available at the auction itself.
