Barons Family Fun Day – 2023

Get ready for an unforgettable day of fun at Barons Family Fun Day 2023 on July 8!

Start with a delicious Pancake Breakfast at the Community Hall and make to bring a food bank offering. Then, be amazed by the vibrant Parade on Main Street, with prizes for the best entries. Kids can enjoy a thrilling Scavenger Hunt, while adults explore the Farmers Market with local vendors and tasty food. Admire classic cars at the Show and Shine, catch a Superman movie at the Drop-in, and groove to live music at the Barons Legion.Don’t miss the United Church Thrift Shop for great bargains. End the day with a mouthwatering Roast Beef Dinner at the Community Hall.

Full Timeline of Events

Pancake Breakfast

Time: 8-10AM
Location: Community Hall
Other: Please bring a food bank offering. Hosted by the Village of Barons

Parade

Time: 11AM
Location: Main Street, Barons
Other: Entries must be lined up by 9:30AM on Railway Ave to be judged by the Elks. Ribbons and cash prices are available.

Kids Activities and Family Scavenger Hunt

Time: starts right after the parade
Location: east of the Community Hall

Farmers Market

Time: 10AM-3PM
Location: 209 Noble St. Community Hall.
Other: Borsht or Sandwich Lunch. Lets all shop local and support market vendors!

Show and Shine

Time: starts right after the parade till 2PM.
Location: Main St.
Other: Register at Drop-in. Peoples choice awards announced at 1:55PM. Coffee, iced tea and goodies.

Superman Movie

Time: 1PM
Location: Drop-in

Barons Legion

Time: Opens after the parade.
Location: 205 Main St.
Other: Members and guests stopping for a cool drink, a pulled pork or hot dog lunch and listen to live music! Jess session starts at 1PM.

United Church Thrift Shop

Time: 10AM – 2PM
Location: 113 Main St.
Other: Bargain prices, come out and check everything out!

Roast Beef Dinner

Time: 5PM – 6PM
Location: 209 Noble St (Community Hall)
Other: $10 (ages 12 and under), $15 (ages 13+). Hosted by the Ag Society
